The son of a master boat builder and cabinet maker, Mike inherited his father’s passion for high-quality materials, craftsmanship and detail. He contracts with respected professionals, trades people and suppliers who have worked with him on many projects and whose commitment to excellence matches his own. His insistence on teamwork, the integrity and fairness of his business dealings, and his track record of working cooperatively with local officials help ensure that projects run smoothly and transparently from planning to completion.

Because most people have not had experience with a custom build or renovation, Mike ensures his clients are well prepared for the adventure and its inevitable challenges. Managing only a few projects at a time, he is in constant communication with his clients, their architects and other design consultants. From the first planning meeting to the day when he hands the keys to the homeowners, no detail is too minor for his concern. And, as his clients will readily attest, Mike’s commitment to excellence extends well beyond completion date, far surpassing the dry wording of builders’ warranties.

Mike  has built more than 60 custom homes throughout Greater Victoria and the Saanich Peninsula – almost all as a result of referrals from delighted homeowners. One of his recent projects, a two-acre waterfront estate, was featured in Boulevard Magazine and Western Living Magazine, and was on the 2009 Victoria Art Gallery Tour. An earlier project was featured in Better Homes and Gardens Magazine.
